The said Finance company has for sometime now issued me a notice to provide the next of kin of my client or his account shall be declared dor mant and possibly confiscated. These scams are pretty much all the same.  No matter what country the money is supposedly coming from, they always denominate it in US dollars.  That is a big red flag for me, besides the fact that I find it extremely unlikely that any attorney would contact anyone via email considering most communications with their clients are priviledged.  Another thing, they would probably go through your country's embassy, which would probably involve some kind of governmental communication.  I had a client who did inherit money from relatives in Germany.  She did know them, however, so it wasn't a shock.  However, it was quite a process to get the money.  It had to go through the State Department and I forget, maybe even Homeland Security.
