So there are a lot of consipiracy theories out there, one is that the original moon landing was a fake.
People contend that it was filmed in a studio and that it's not possible to leave the earth's atmosphere.

I'm not going to state my opinion or any scientific proof for anything right now, I simply would like to know what people think of the theory. Does it have any validity?

I think we definitely landed on the moon... no question.... just give me a powerful enough telescope and I'll prove it.  We'll check out some lander-wreckage and maybe even a few footprints.

Of course we went to the moon.  Hell, we've got satellites in orbit. Most non-believers are religous whackos so I pay them little attention.

There's plenty of evidence and a lot of people involved for/in the exploration of space.

If it's impossible to leave the earth's atmosphere as the conspiracy nutbags say where do all the space shuttles/probes go after they take off? and if they are destroyed by what means do they continue to transmit information to us?

Space is one of the most interesting areas of scientific research for me, I just hope we retain enough stability worldwide for it to continue to be a worthwhile project.

I think it was a fake.  They haven't been back there lately though.

Everyone knows that conspiracy theories generally completely based on facts and have nothing to do with crackpots trying to find a way to get some attention *rolls eyes*

So here's the truth kids, we didn't land on the moon because the moon doesn't really exist. The moon is just a hologram projected into the sky by stone masons in order to distract people while they slowly take over the world.

Probably because they are spending the money on researching other stellar bodies in Sol to go to, since there's nothing else on the moon but mining and setting up Biospheres..
