Which celebrity do you think is the worst role model for young girls?

Britney Spears - I suppose she could be a role model... if you're trailer trash
But the whole image of being a total skank, commerical or not, isn't the best thing you should be showing 12 year old girls

Christina Aguilera - Christina has talent, she's a good singer and has produced songs that are admirable... however.... On the opposite side there's Dirrrty which... well 12 year olds shouldn't be watching regardless... and the fact she dresses in next to nothing
The human body IS a beautiful thing, but Christina ever hear of "leaving it to the imagination"???

Paris Hilton - Umm what exactly is Paris famous for??? Being rich.... and spoiled.... and a whore...
How is she a role model at all? She's more like what you DON'T want your daughter to be like

Madonna - Madonna.... well, see's like the old version of Britney

Angelina Jolie - Despite the kissing her brother, drinking blood and being the most famous homewrecker, she does have some good qualities. In her movies she portrays characters that show that girls can kick ass, and she does a lot for charity and adopting kids in 3rd world countries

Tara Reid - Frankenboobie.... yeah she's not even a good actress   all she's famous for is for her ugly boobs that she shows EVERYONE

Lindsay Lohan - Anorexic Crack whore.... yes all young girls should be like her...  <_<

I love Angelina Jolie. Haha I think she's a good role model for girls. Yes, yes, yes, I know the whole incident w/ Brad...but hey! Maybe he wasn't that happy w/ Jennifer Aniston...and Maddox does need a dad figure.

First of all, I don't think that Angelina should be on the list at all.. She is a beautiful and talented woman, and I think she would be an amazing role model for any young girl. How is she a homewrecker? She fell in love with Brad while they were shooting a movie together! Have you SEEN Mr. and Mrs. Smith?? They have tons of onscreen chemistry together, and I think it's great that they found eachother

As for Paris, I think she's a riot! She embodies exactly what more people should be like.. not afraid to say the truth to people, and not afraid to let loose every once and a while and embarrass themselves! And she looks good doing it!

As for Lindsay, I think everyone should stop making fun of her for getting as skinny as she did. And stop making remarks about her being a crackwhore. She is a singer and an actor, and is given a very tight schedule of performing and working out to keep that perfect "Hollywood Image".. its not hard to neglect yourself and your health.

And yes, Gus makes a good point.. what the hell did Tara Reid do to get on this list?

How is saying "That's hot" all the time speaking your mind??? I suppose if you have a small mind that phrase could be quite the strain, but the fact is this is supposed to be about role models

And Tara Reid is the drunk chick who's friends with Paris and is always on the tabloid covers

The reports seem to forget that if you're always drunk and causing a scene it's no longer a "binge" thats when you need to sign up for AA before you need a new liver

Grrrrrranted judging people we don't know isn't all that mature, but you're supposed to be looking at this from a parents stand point

I hardly doubt she would get that image from seeing the cover of a tabloid magazine! I would teach my daughter not to believe any of the garbage she sees in those things.

And just because a TABLOID says someone is on a "drunken binge again" doesnt mean they were.. nor does it mean that they get drunk alot. And I'm very sure that its hard to be a celebrity and not get drunk on occassion, since you'd be on everyone's hot list and invited to party every weekend. For the amount of young people I know who get drunk every single weekend at the bar, I really don't think it's fair to judge Tara on it. She's just another 20 something year old.

As for proper Role Models, yes you are right Rob, this topic SHOULD be about women who arent properly sending young girls the right message. Perhaps you are also right to say that Paris Hilton is a good example of that, but some of the other choices on the list shouldnt be there at all. What tabloids tell as the "truth" and what is ACTUALLY the truth, are 2 different things.. and as adults we should all be able to recognize this.

I thing both Angelina Jolie & Lindsay Lohan are amazing actresses. Maybe Lindsay Lohan has had her ups and downs w/ her "anorexia"...but hey... but as an actress and a singer...she has always been great.

Angelina Jolie is amazing. She's an awesome actress. So what if she fell in love w/ brad pitt?! If Brad & jennifer's relationship w/ going "as good as every1 else thinks" then he wouldn't have left her so easy...

As for women who are bad role models, I think it is the ones who get married every 2 weeks to a different guy.. like Jennifer Lopez, and Britney are the ones we should be focussing on. Someone should be teaching young girls that just because you "love" a guy, doesnt mean you jump into marriage with him, and that relationships should be taken with more than just a grain of salt. respect yourself, and people will respect you!

You know who I actually think is a great Role Model (and I might get fought on this ) is Mariah Carey. Yes, she wears revealing clothes, and half of her outfits are falling off But when her heavy schedule caused her to have a public breakdown and ruined her career, she picked herself up, dusted herself off, and went straight back to what made her so popular in the first place, her amazing vocal pitch. That kind of lesson is something that should be portrayed more to young girls!
