Hmm. I have a deep dark secret that probably will not end up posted online. It's nothing disgusting, just illegal, and it's not drugs or something stupid like that.

I'm terrified of heights.

I do have a closet full of skeletons. That in itself is no secret.

Most of them will not be posted on the internet, as there may be some incriminating stuff in there, and much of it quite humiliating. However, odd as it may seems, my dark past is a great asset to me today. I have no problem sharing my story with people who may be helped by it. To take a frightened kid off the streets and try to get them to trust you is damn near impossible, unless you can show them that you do understand. By sharing my own experiences, AI have gotten tons of other people to open up about themselves, and maybe be able to get them the help they need.

That's so awesome that you use those experiences to help others. I do believe that we need to fall down sometimes, just so we can appreciate things that we often take for granted.

Exactly! I do believe that those of us that go the lowest can also go the highest. I try to remember that I need a certain amount of bullshit in my life for balance. How could I appreciate how good my life was if it was just good all the time?
