So I've learned over the past while people aren't always what they seem nor are their intentions always good or standards..
I recently told someone who I no longer consider a friend that I'm in no uncertain terms done with them. Why? because Im not going to be critisized over my actions because they have a double standard on behavior just because they figure they've had an apiphany and all of a sudden "grown up". While acting like a complete child by obessing over someone in another country/continent, insulting others thinking they're being funny and its acceptable. Clearly maturity right here yo! (Did I mention this is all while telling other people to be nicer to others and more understanding?)
I also am no longer going to tolerate any kind of rudeness directed to myself. If you piss me off you'll be told, if you do it on this site and you break a rule.. you WILL be disciplined. At this point I no longer care about the feelings other admins on this, as I've posted whats acceptable and inaccetable behavior from members multiple times.. I think it comes down to use some common sense instead of just thinking you can come some where you know you dont actually know anyone and thinking you can do what ever you want.
I've also learned I need to start putting my needs ahead of others. The past 12 months helping people have gotten me accused of rape and being an all around horrible person while costing me thousands of dollars. Sure, I'm not going to turn a blind eye, but I really doubt anyone should come looking to me for pity any time soon as they wont get a drop.
I've also learned that I may go permantly deaf, an idea I'm not overly thrilled with but more on that subject as more information becomes available

Hey, you're a kind, generous and all round great human being. I hope that the people who try to take advantage of those qualities don't turn you off the rest of the world. There are more good people than bad in the world and it's taken me a lot of years to learn that. And you know me, A LOT of years. In the end, I know you have earned a lot of respect and admiration from many good people.
